justine kish is about a 3-1 favorite to conquer ji yeon kim in ufc on fox 27 on saturday night.

kish won her first four pro fights before she made her ufc introduction in january of 2016. kish won a unanimous decision against nina ansaroff and kish followed up with a win over ashley yoder at december of 2016. the primary loss for kish in her career happened in june of this past year, as she dropped a unanimous decision to felice herrig.

kish stated that she’s been training with longtime coach jeff jimmo, to prepare for this struggle against kim. “i usually don’t see a lot of footage of my opponents,” said kish,”but i have watched a lot of footage . we have studied it multiple times and i think i will have a great strategy.”

kish has been a specialist since 2013. she struggled to two draws in her first two pro fights and she is 6-1 since. she has three wins by entry and two by knockout. she’s one first round finish.

the line on this battle is surprisingly high with kish about a 3-1 favorite. i really do think the move up in fat will help kish, as she looked weak against herrig and it is always pleasant to have the house crowd edge. kim landed a few shots from pudilova within her ufc debut, but still lost a unanimous decision. i lean toward kish in this struggle, but i think it will be a competitive struggle and i am certainly not familiar laying 3-1 at a struggle i believe will be shut. i believe playing with the rounds would be the better thing to do. the rounds choice is recorded at 2.5 with the more recorded at -260. neither one of these two fighters have much power, and that i can’t find either one obtaining a finish unless one of these makes a significant error and gets caught in a grip. i’ll take the rounds to go over the total.
